Angela, Charlie and Robert

Angela, Charlie and Robert are out at the waterfront park. Their grandmother lags behind, her legs are old and tired. Angela and Charlie step up onto the little concrete blocks that line the path and walk along them, hopping from notch to notch. Bobby does not because he is in a wheelchair, unable to control his muscles well enough to walk. Even his hand shakes as he presses forward the joystick. He rolls alongside them, laughing with their jokes, Bobby has grown up like this, nothing is out of the ordinary. In fact, it doesn't even bother him watching his cousins play, its just what life is, Bobby has never known any different. Bobby smiles and enjoys the sunshine just like Angela and Charlie, but sometimes at night Bobby cries uncontrollably at the littlest things and doesn't know why.
