is it worth it?

9 hours a day looking at this cinderblock wall

looking carefully at the internet

staring into columns of numbers 

certainly there are moments

when i look up at the ceiling and laugh with full force

when we discuss art films and jazz music with vigor

or i'm breathtook by a piece of architecture

but often it's this

often i'm alone

with headphones in

young and sexy and wasting

i'm considering building a boat

i mean, i'm actively building a boat

a little canoe

but i'm also considering building another boat

a big boat, a sailboat

and then sailing to costa rica

i know a boatbuilder now 

and i knew a boatbuilder then too

but the problem was that i had no money

now i have money gushing out of every hole

money just cartwheels into my bank account

it's incredible really

all i have to do is look at the wall
