it's usually obvious
you can tell even when it's at your nephews 9-year-old birthday party,
the compulsion doesn't change.
you can tell even if you haven't seen eachother since high school
you knew it then and you know it now.
and so you leave the birthday party early
drunk on your bike and swerving
because you don't trust yourself to act right
i need to act right i need to act right i need to act right
my biggest wound is about not acting right
sex is a dead end and i know that now.
but do i trust myself to know that forever?
