A Runner Guide to Buying New Running Shoes

1) Find the nearest sports store with a semi-questionable reputation. If they are having a sidewalk sale, even better.

2) Go inside and ask for water socks. They don't have them.

3) Look then to the running shoe racks. Find the two cheapest pairs (19.99 and 24.99) and try them both on in your size.

4) Walk around, let mexican moms and dads look at you suspiciously, lace them really tight.

5) Decide on the cheaper ones even though they're white.

6) Make eye contact but don't say a single world to the blonde at the cash register.

7) Throw your old shoes in the trash can outside. Ride away triumphant.

i've been thinking about running alot today. i want to run for hours at a time, for whole days.

a little bit lonely today too. out of place somehow.
